Great News for Buyers! Home Prices Are Down In
Greater Upper Marlboro Area
According to Zillow's Real Estate Market Reports for December 2010, Greater Upper Marlboro home values were down 2.1% compared to November 2010 and down 16.0% compared to December 2009. This chart shows the vivid decline in home prices.
This is great news for potential homebuyers who are looking to buy a first home, buy an investment property, move into the area, or just switch homes. The market is ripe for buying and a good Realtor can help you spot the very best deals.
If, on the other hand, you’re already a homeowner in Prince George’s County and you have noticed that the value of your property has decreased and has possibly become less than the amount you owe on your mortgage, you will also benefit from an expert to help you get out from under that obligation. If you’ve looked around my website, you’ll know I speak from the experience of my expertise in this area. I have helped many homeowners to come up for air from underwater mortgages and I can help you, too.
Whether you are buying or you already own in Upper Marlboro, MD, you need someone on your side to negotiate on your behalf. If you’ll let me help you, the outcome can change your life.
P.S. For Buyers, I recently learned a tip to check the property taxes on a property you are interested in because they are not always accurately reported on the MLS. Go to http://taxinquiry.princegeorgescountymd.gov/ and type in the property address. Be careful NOT to include Drive, Street, Lane, etc…just the house # and the street name. Click on the 2011 tax bill. Add back in any tax credits that the seller is presently getting…those credits won’t transfer over to you as a buyer.
Let me know if this has been helpful and I will keep the information coming!
I look forward to being of service,
